Basic information

This course is the second in a series of four taster workshops with our new instructor, Áta Holíková. The courses are loosely connected. You can try them all or choose the ones you like.

In this workshop, you will learn to combine two different principles—line and color area—to create harmony. You will master working with a liner so that drawing becomes a pleasure. You will understand the role of color in a composition, how to use warm and cool tones, and the basics of working with watercolor. We will create artworks based on fruits and vegetables, as well as from photos and ready-made illustrations.

Notes

The course is suitable for beginners who are just starting to explore the art world, as well as for more experienced creators who want to learn something new or refine and perfect their technique.

For the taster workshops, all materials are provided free of charge.

If you have your own motif that you would like to work on using this technique, you are welcome to bring it, and we’ll explore it together.
