Throwing on the pottery wheel is another method of ceramic creation you can try at Mojí dílně.

In an individual course, the instructor focuses solely on you. You can discuss production topics that interest you and practice what you find challenging.

It is an intensive course from which you will gain a wealth of experience and products.

Basic information

This individual course consists of two sessions:

Tuesday, August 27 – 3 hours of work (4-7 PM) – clay processing, introduction to the wheel, centering, throwing basic shapes.

Wednesday, August 28 – 2 hours (4-6 PM) – finishing products, adding handles, decorating with engobes.

Subsequently, your products will be fired in the kiln and handed over as agreed. If you wish to glaze the products before the second firing, you can purchase a spot in a glazing class.

We will provide

  • 3 kg pottery clay
  • two firings in an electric kiln
  • engobes
  • use of tools
  • loan of work apron

You need to bring

  • workwear

Notes

The course is suitable for adults, beginners, and advanced participants, as well as children aged 15 and older.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel a course 7 days before it starts, we will refund the amount paid by crediting your virtual wallet. These credits can be used in our e-shop or to book another course.
