Pottery wheel throwing is another ceramic technique you can try at Moje dílna.

In an individual course, the instructor focuses solely on you. You can discuss topics related to production that interest you and practice areas where you need improvement.

It’s an intensive course from which you'll gain a wealth of experience and a collection of finished pieces.

Basic information

This individual course consists of two lessons:

TUESDAY – 3 hours of work (4-7 PM) – clay preparation, introduction to wheel work, centering, and throwing basic shapes.

THURSDAY – 2 hours (4-6 PM) – trimming pieces, adding handles, and decorating with slips.

Your pieces will then be fired in the kiln and handed over as agreed. If you wish to glaze your pieces before the second firing, you can book a spot in an additional pottery lesson.

We will provide

  • 3 kg pottery clay
  • two firings in an electric kiln
  • engobes
  • use of tools
  • loan of a work apron

You need to bring

  • work wear

Notes

The course is suitable for adults, beginners, and advanced students, as well as children aged 15 and up.

Important

Cancellation policy

If you cancel a course 7 days before it starts, we will refund the amount paid by crediting your virtual wallet. These credits can be used in our e-shop or to book another course. To process this, you must have a user account at the time of cancellation. Refunds are not provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the course. Thank you for your understanding.
