Basic information

After the summer break, we’re returning to wood and the carving knife. This time, you can choose your own path.

Is this your first time with us? You’ll make a smooth wooden pendant and learn the basics of working with a carving knife.

Have you carved with us before? You can make a wooden pin for a scarf, sweater or cardigan and explore shape, wood grain and finer details in more depth.

Everyone can find their own way and let both their hands and the wood decide what form the piece will eventually take.

At the end, we’ll gently sand everything and finish it with natural oil.

If your pin needs a little more time, you can finish it at the next session and add your own details – a small stone, mother-of-pearl, or a delicate motif burned into the wood.

What you’ll take away from the workshop:

• A one-of-a-kind wooden piece made by your own hands – a pendant or pin carrying the imprint of your care, patience and craftsmanship.
• Hands-on experience with a carving knife, new skills and perhaps even the desire to keep going.
• A clear head and the joy of seeing what your own hands can create. 😊
