Watercolor: Feathers and Birds

Basic information

The course is suitable for beginners who are painting with watercolor for the first time, as well as those who have some experience but want to explore new subjects and learn more about the technique.

We will focus on the wet-on-wet technique and experiment with both vibrant, abstract motifs and natural tones with more realistic themes.

In this course, you will try:

- Practicing the wet-on-wet technique using both traditional watercolors and modern inks.
- Sketching basic shapes from references.
- Painting feathers and birds in both free and realistic styles, with available references and photographed steps.
- Tips and tricks for further adjustments and embellishing your finished paintings, and suggestions for compositions for future projects.
