Custom ceramics

Custom ceramics is a demanding discipline that most potters do not pursue. We fully understand why, and it is possible that we too will have to give up this service in the future. But as long as we can, let's talk about it.

Do you own an e-shop, café, small shop, or company and are considering having ceramics made with your brand or in your own design?

Consider the following:

1. Time for development and production.
When developing a new product (shape/design/color), it is necessary not to rush and to allow weeks for development and then weeks for production. The entire process can take several months. For repeated production, it takes 2 - 4 weeks, and for new products, up to 2 months.

2. Style - Choose a potter whose range is closest to your vision. In our workshop, we only make pieces that align with us and reflect our range. And we definitely will not make copies of other creators, even on request.

3. Minimum - Our internal rule is a minimum of 10 pieces per type (color + size + design) and a minimum of 30 pieces per order. It is not worthwhile for us to develop and produce fewer quantities.

4. Imperfections - Despite all efforts and experience, some products still go to second quality after final inspection. We always make 10% more than ordered and ask our customers to be understanding and order more than their absolute minimum. We rarely deliver the exact number ordered.

5. Defect or advantage of handmade work? - We make ceramics in the workshop by hand - on the wheel or by hand shaping. We do not use templates or molds, so each piece is slightly different. If these deviations bother you, we would not recommend working with us.

6. Price - Compared to our regular range, the price of custom production is often higher. We include our time spent developing and testing the new design. We put energy and time into your order and appreciate your understanding. We always agree on the price with the customer before starting the production process.

7. Payment in advance - From the beginning, we invest money, time, and work into the order. Therefore, especially if we do not know each other, advance payment is necessary.
